(Photo by Chaiyot Pupattanapong)PATTAYA - Police were hunting for a suspect who attacked an 18-year-old Chinese student with a stick and robbed her of valuables worth nearly 30,000 baht before escaping in a pickup truck late Sunday night. The Chinese student said that she lost her shoulder bag containing 3,000 yuan (about 15,000 baht), 3,000 baht and a mobile phone worth 10,000 baht. They saw a man in black carrying a wooden stick and a shoulder bag run to a pickup truck and drive away. They did not see the Chinese woman until she approached them later to seek help, they said.
